So very sorry to hear the heartbreaking news about Anna. Anna was my first friend when I moved to Aberdeen & started working at The Thistle Hotel in the 90's. Many happy memories of working with Anna & night's out with her & Kirsten. We sadly lost touch when I moved away, but I have never forgotten her, such a lovely, beautiful, friendly, caring & happy person. My deepest condolences to all the family x 💔

"a huge smile, a quick tongue, loved to hear her talk", yes I totally agree! I loved that too. And I loved to hear her sing, so passionate ... I met Anna at the Aberdeen Thistle in 1997. We worked together at reception. She told me, the german girl everything about the Scots and about the steep coast she loved so much - and she loved scottish music. One song was running up and down the whole time while we were on duty;-) Loch Lomond! I can still hear it and I just put that on again while writing this text. I am so sorry to hear! Altough I have not heard from her since then tears are run down my face. I can not believe she is not under us anymore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ7f0HUk8OU By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes Where  the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond Where  we two have passed so many blithesome days On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond O you'll take the high road and I'll take the low road And  I'll be in Scotland afore ye But  me and my true love will never meet again On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond I  mind where we parted on yon shady glen On the steep, steep side o' Ben Lomond Where in purple hue, the Heiland hills we view And the moon shinin' out from the gloamin' O  you'll take the high road and I'll take the low road And I'll be in Scotland afore ye But me and my true love will never meet again On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond The wee bird may sing and the wild flowers spring And in sunshine the waters are sleeping: The broken heart will ken nae second spring again And the world does not know how we're grievin' O you'll take the high road and I'll take the low road And I'll be in Scotland afore ye But me and my true love will never meet again On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond
